Schumann (Henan) Tank Equipment Co., Ltd. is a Sino-German joint venture that officially established operations in China in April 2018 (hereinafter referred to as “Schumann China”). In June 2020, Xinxiang Schumann Tank Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded in Weihui City, Henan Province, serving as Schumann’s primary business entity in China. The company provides users with one-stop solutions for large modular tanks, covering everything from design and manufacturing to on-site assembly and after-sales service. The company’s establishment fills a gap in China’s large modular tank market and holds significant importance for China’s energy transformation and the upgrading of its environmental protection industry.

As a globally renowned tank supplier, Schumann offers a comprehensive range of tank products to meet diverse customer needs across a wide array of applications, having achieved particular success in the biogas industry. The company’s shareholder, Schumann Germany, operates globally, serves as a member of the German large-scale tank standardization committee, and is endorsed by the U.S. Biogas Association. With over 30 years of experience in the design and manufacture of large-scale tanks, the company has successfully implemented projects in 35 countries and regions. Countless successful cases have demonstrated that its core product—the anaerobic digester—has gradually become an economical alternative to tanks made of other materials such as enamel, welded steel, or concrete, thanks to its exceptional safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and adaptability, coupled with low maintenance costs. Schumann digesters currently hold a 25% share of the global anaerobic digester market and account for over 80% of the market for large-scale anaerobic digesters in Europe.

Since its establishment in China, Schumann has consistently adhered to a corporate philosophy of rigor, pragmatism, and quality first. Simultaneously, the products have achieved significant breakthroughs in overseas markets, with cumulative shipments exceeding 100 tanks to Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia, totaling over 800,000 m³ in volume.
